True Story

This happened several days ago.I was in the other world, talking with a little girl, aged approximately seven years. She asked me:”What’s the best day of your life?”I didn’t think too long, but I spoke without thinking. Me: Uh… tomorrow. Girl: But you don’t know what’s gonna happen to you tomorrow.Me: I know!Girl: Is that why it’s the best? Because you think something magical might happen?Me: yes.Girl: You use your imagination too much.

This is not a dream…

You are simply living what can be. The purpose is to be what we want it to be and ours is the only reason to have. THere are places set aside for you, projects to tend to in our own time and fun to be had. Wander, wonder and let me know what you see.

I know this place…

I’ve been here before… but it is strange to me… like it’s from a dream… we had a purpose we developed, but I can’t remember it. I can’t even remember who I am. But your words, your voice… they are so familiar… they sound somewhat like home

Jubilation

Welcome. No need to worry, all is where you last left it. By tomorrow it will all be familiar. Most importantly, do you understand the process I have presented? Can we begin? If so I will start and we can build a tree.

Glad to see you back again. Don’t stay away so long next time.

It’s been so long…

I don’t even know where to begin

A Silent Grey Day

I know that you are sad, and that you must deal with moments not of your chosing, but you are missed and our long silence has left us with very little complete. A tree waits. It will be our tree with what ever we want to climb up and find in it. Do what you must, but when you are done, return. We have adventures to begin.

A Tree Grows in Our Land

I need understanding. I need acceptance. I need to know that you are listening and ready.

Our Guide

OUR TEMPLATE
This is our template. Download it ounce, it is a large file for our land. This will be for the end presentation. The template must be used as follows. The template is layered. This is so you can turn the lines that guide your drawing off before sending it to ourcorpse. Always save your new drawing as a new file, keep the template clean for easy use. I will soon post the first fraction. This will be the top portion of the first part to round one. This will be named as per Your Guide to My Salivation requires, with four words. You will take the fraction of the first part, add it to the template, and continue to create the second part to round one. In the template the fraction is the area from my drawing that is located above the top line and in the area marked FOR THE NEXT ROUND. Remember, we are not creating a body or a corpse, but a tree, each one of us has the next part to continue it to our liking.

Technically the template works as follows. You will take the fraction that I post for you to see. This will be all that you see of my part. You will open it in photoshop and change the resolution from 72 to 300. Lock the width and height, but not the resolution.
Open the template and resave it for this round. Drag the fraction that I posted for you to see and place it in the area PREVIOUS ROUND, it should match in size to our template if you adjusted it from 72 to 300 DPI. You will then continue where my part left off left off and fill the rest of the template all the way up to the top. For the most part the only thing that needs to appear in the area marked FOR THE NEXt ROUND is the location of our trunk, for which all things grow from. Other than that you only need to let me see lines for what you want me to continue into my drawing. When you are done completing the template you will turn off the guide layer, and resave a flattened version as a jpeg and send it to ourcorpse@arthursjourney.com as per the instructiosn mentioned above with a five word title. You will then take that jpeg and change the resolution to 72 dpi, locking both the height and width but not the resolution. After you do that you will change the canvas size from 700 pixels height to 50 pixels, locking the anchor to any of the top three boxes. Once you hit OK you should have an exact fraction similar to what I sent you, only with your drawing for me to continue. Post this with the same five word title mentioned above. No other words can be typed On The Limb, if you have questions, post them in the Ground.

Your Guide To My Salivation

This new adventure will make sense only if you have become familiar with the Exquisite Corpse. You must understand how this works in order for this to succeed. To keep it straight, we will take turns, as is the nature of the game. The first part will be mine, which will begin when you answer this message and let me know that you are ready. I will display and share with you a fraction of part one as to the rules of the corpse. There are two parts to each round, the second part is in your hands.

You will complete the next part in total, based on the fraction I have displayed and done within the template I am providing, and send it to ourcorpse@arthursjourney.com. This will be delivered straight to a safe that is watched by an army of loyal subjects to our land who guard the safe day and night at the farthest distance of the sun setting in our land where no man dare journey as it is in the coldest climate known to touch the skin of man. Straight to this safe it will go where no one, not even I will be able to see it. Upon delivery I will be advised of the title of your message to our corpse, so it must appear as described below or I will not know that I can proceed. You will then display of a similar fraction of your part two to share with me. This must be completed in order for each round to conclude and thereby start the next round. Always remember we are going up. Do not fear the heights, your fears have been removed here. Below is a simple guide to our adventure, we each have the same responsibility.

The Guide to each Round:
Step One, Part One will be constructed by me and sent to ourcorpse@arthursjourney.com. The title of the message must be four words long and be unique to all previous rounds. OurCorpse will notify us both of the receipt.
Step Two, I will share a fraction of Part One with you On The Limb. The title of Part One must be used to share the fraction.
Step Three, You will create Part Two and send it to ourcorpse@arthursjourney.com. The title of the message must be five words long and be unique to all previous rounds. OurCorpse will notify us of the receipt.
Step Four, you will share a fraction of Part Two with me On The Limb. The title of Part Two must be used to share the fraction.
Round Two will commence.

The template is found here. Follow the guides for the template or this will not work in the end. The Rounds will continue until one or both of us deems it has gone on long enough. Upon such decision, we will each get two rounds to complete and end our adventure in a manner deemed appropriate. As I have gotten the bottom, you will adorn the top. Until then, we can build a tree and be free. Once begun, no words may be typed On The Limb save for the title of the message sent to ourcorpse.

The guards are not men, they are not two legged and they are led by one that is not of there kind. They will guard the safe that contains ourcorpse and deliver all messages as they have been instructed to.

When this adventure ends there will be a celebration. The celebration will bring together all the parts in there entirety. After the second round from when we deem the end to have come, the guards will deliver all of the parts to me, for construction of our tree. Our tree will be displayed in a shower of lights and we can gather before it.

The Keeper Of Keys and Monkeys and Mondays Begs the Attention of the Plutocrat of Hats and Cheese

The guides have been posted. There are two. One for this adventure and one for the tools for this adventure. Once you have read them over leave a message on the Ground to let me know you are ready to begin. If you are not, leave a message on the Ground as to where I can help. The monkey sleeps, I too am outrunning slumber.
